Responsibilities could include : Provide direct supervision to Program Analysts in support of operations of a CDBG Disaster Recovery program Maintain a complete understanding of all applicable Housing Programs policies, requirements, and procedures and review all cases within the established guidelines Assist in the development of policies and procedures Perform monitoring and testing procedures to detect fraud, waste, and abuse Develop and monitor controls Design and produce reports requested by clients Communicate progress of projects, problems, and resolutions to clients Identify policy or program related compliance issues Make recommendations for program efficiencies and coordinate resolutions and improvements Communicate and interact with government officials, applicants and other stakeholders on a daily basis Provide administrative and clerical support of project-related activities Essential Experience : Bachelor's Degree required, fields of study in Accounting, Business, Construction Management or related field is a plus At least ten (10) years of experience in CDBG-DR program funded for disaster housing and community development or related field Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus A working knowledge of regulatory and statutory compliance requirements for CDBG disaster recovery and similar programs/projects is required Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong critical thinking and conflict resolution abilities Ability to learn and apply policy to specific circumstances Ability to assist with Business Development Provide administrative and clerical support of project-related activities Must be organized and be able to handle multiple tasks Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Other : Employment is contingent upon successful award of contract with client and on the applicant's ability to clear a background check and drug screening Possess a Valid Driver's license Be available for travel and overnight business trips Opportunity for extended employment CohnReznick is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
