Full Job Description
General Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating all testing and certification activities. Prepares and distributes certification estimates, test plans, test schedules, and certification results documents, based on information provided by Software Testers. Attends and actively participates in release management meetings and regular Scrum sessions. Works with Software Testing System Administrators to ensure that certification environments are properly updated with necessary code and test data. Coordinates with Change Management Group to assure that tested software is properly implemented in production environments. Analyzes requirements, designs test scenarios and test scripts to validate requirements, estimates testing efforts, executes tests, documents defects, and validates defect fixes.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Information Systems, from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience. At least two (2) years of experience in Software Testing or working on Software Development Projects which are formally tested.
Knowledge and Skills Required
· Experience working on a Scrum team in an Agile Environment.
· Previous experience in software testing, including experience in the Agile Development Lifecycle.
· Must have a test design and execution background.
· Strong understanding of full lifestyle testing, test case development, execution of test procedures.
· Experience working with Selenium, Apium, Postman or similar automation testing tools and technologies.
· Experience working with JIRA, HPALM or similar tools.
· Knowledge of testing automation tools and strategies for web, database & mobile app is preferred.
· Ability to document all testing activities and write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications.
· Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
· Demonstrate strong and effective verbal and written communication skills both in English and Spanish.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.
· Self-motivated, accountable, highly organized, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong collaboration skills and a great capacity to build strong relationships with other team members.
· Ability to understand client’s needs.
· Knowledge of Word Processing, Presentations, Spreadsheet, Internet, Internal Business software's, and other related software’s.
Monday to Friday form 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
