Visual Designer

As a Visual Designer at Ad Practitioners, you are part of a team that helps shape and define the visual design language across multiple platforms, products, and websites. You delight consumers through illustrations, photography, typography, space, layout, and color, building experiences that are seamless, intuitive, modern and beautiful. Key Responsibilities:
Create well thought out UI designs based on wireframes as well as written, and verbal descriptions
Organize process and people in order to align on our vision to create intuitive, modern, and delightful end-to-end user experiences
Work cross-departmentally to create website interactions that are both good for users & optimized to achieve conversion goals
Create on-brand designs for marketing campaigns, ads, and other marketing initiatives
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS

5+years professional visual design experience
Minimum BA or BS ideally in interaction design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Engineering
Strong messaging skills—the ability to craft words, graphics, interfaces, and workflows to tell a great story, communicate an idea and create a visceral experience for users
Excellent written communication skills.
Understanding of Google Analytics. Experience using other web analytics platforms is a plus
Required proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
