Warehouse Assistant

*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our warehouse operations by managing inventory, assisting with stock organization, and ensuring efficient warehouse management. This position requires familiarity with various warehouse equipment and systems, including reach trucks and cherry pickers, to facilitate smooth operations.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist in the management of inventory levels to ensure stock availability and accuracy.
* Utilize warehouse management systems to track packages and monitor stock movements.
* Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently.
* Build and organize product displays or pallets for storage or shipment.
* Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
* Perform regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and assist in resolving issues.
* Support the loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles as needed.

*Requirements*
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with inventory management practices and warehouse management systems is a plus.
* Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers safely (certification may be required).
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
* Willingness to learn new skills related to warehouse operations and equipment handling.
