Job Description The Web Designer/ Social Media Specialist will assist in the creation, design, production and implementation of websites, printed marketing materials and social media channels, while protecting the integrity of the brand to ensure consistency in look and feel across all internal and external communications. Required Skills/Duties: A clear understanding of how to execute cutting-edge design in digital (websites, email, social, digital display ads, etc.) and print (flyers, letters, brochures, postcards, etc.) mediums Excellent concept, creative strategy, design, layout, color, composition, brand, typography, and communication skills Able to create compelling and appealing visual communications that meet specific goals and provide measurable results Proven experience with web, email and mobile design Website creation using common frameworks such as WordPress Plan website design by clarifying goals; designing functionality Develops site navigation by categorizing content; funneling traffic through content Update and maintain websites according to current needs Strong time management and multitasking skills with ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to produce assigned projects from concept to completion Ability to Create/Maintain social media channels. Detail-oriented, team player, positive, analytical, self-motivated, resourceful and organized Able to multi-task and resolve multiple inquiries at once and in order of priority Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred in a visual communication field, Web/Graphic Design or any visual communication degree 2 years of experience Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and web development programs (Dreamweaver, BBEdit, etc.) required Experience with Word Press preferred HTML, CSS, experience required Visual online examples/portfolio required Social media marketing experience preferred Animation experience a plus Programming experience a plus Send your resume, portfolio and salary requirements.
