The work of a Commissary Agent, depending on assignment, includes, any or all of the following; prepared aircraft catering carts and/or bins with beverages, ice, liquor, snacks and other on-board amenities as needed by the airline. May deliver carts/bins to the aircraft and remove like cart/bins from the aircraft; inventory supplies and complete necessary reports/forms; receives delivery of inventory from vendors. May be required to operate motorized vehicles in the delivery and/or pick up of carts/bins from the aircraft. May be required to assist with the loading/unloading and cleaning of aircraft as needed. Communicates with customers, vendors and colleagues over the telephone and /or radio for planning purposes. Perform various other related customer service duties as assigned. Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors' activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.Required Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Read and interpret printed instructions; write legibly to complete forms/paperwork as required. Ability to work with different levels of management, internally and externally, in communicating issues. Ability to understand basic arithmetic. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to constant changes. Lift, ben and stack bags/boxes weighing up to 70lbs onto carts, into bins, and into storage racks/shelves/compartments. Lift, bend, reach, stretch, and turn to stock bins, racks, containers and storage areas. May required standing on step stools or ladders in order to reach storage racks and baggage holding cages to remove and/or place boxes, suitcases, and other items weighing up to 70lbs. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.Required Experience High School diploma or GED preferred. Valid state drivers' license. Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, rotating shifts and days off. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Ability to accept ownership, responsibility, and accountability of functional obligations, exhibit patience and diplomacy, and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
