Mission of the position: Is responsible to conduct research, identify, and prospect for New B2B Clients. Maintain and maximize the existing database by utilizing the use of the new digital tools and the traditional approach to the B2B client. Expand the B2B customer base and promote the purchase through our own channels with the aim of reaching and exceeding the established sales budget. Follow up on multichannel business opportunities. Coordination of sales actions between hotels and/or Global B2B sales force. Essential Functions: (not inclusive of all of the responsibilities) Develop the B2B Business being the spokesperson person of Melia Hotels International to both new accounts and prospective new accounts; Identify the needs and business sources of these accounts Diligent follow-up on multichannel existing opportunities or create new ones. Knowledge of the competition in your area, products and prices, as well as weak and strong points, transforming it in an argument of sale. Coordination of joint actions with hotels or sales force of global sales or regional teams. Be the intermediary of any incidence of your accounts, being responsible for the closure of the account. Visit, attend events, present products, and promote brands/hotels B2B sales management in its own channels, working towards the achievement of the revenue budget for current and future years. Negotiate commercial agreements and close trade agreements with development companies Properly communicate to all corresponding departments, for an effective data loading in the systems. Ensure timely and accurate reporting Prospecting customers, obtaining the necessary information to capture business opportunities, current or future, through social media, and Linkedin sales navigator Negotiation of rates, within the margins authorized in a satisfactory way for the client and for the company. Optimum knowledge of the own programs and channels to offer the best solution and service to the customer B2B Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent organization skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to deliver presentations in a concise, well-organized manner. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Advance level of English and Spanish required for both written and verbal communication Must have previous knowledge in: Hospitality, E-Commerce, Marketing strategies both online and traditional Competencies: Leadership, Service Orientation, Ability for interpersonal relations, proactivity for excellence, analytical thinking, planning and organization. Education: Must have achieved a bachelors level degree in Tourism or Marketing Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in hotel sales in multiple properties or within a corporate role. Previous experience within the Business Travel segment required.
