Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Design Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Technical and Design guidance to both internal teams and external installation EPCs. The role will make a crucial contribution to the company's longer term customer satisfaction through improved installation, maintenance, and repair of our products. Responsibilities Provide product and installation training to internal teams as well as external clients such as residential solar EPCs Collaborate with internal sales personnel to demonstrate demo units and educate solar installation EPC on design and installation best practices. Understand customers' feedback and collaborate with the product development team to guide next product iterations and developments. Collaborate with the service department when services and repairs become needed. Participate in and collaborate with the product development team on product design and upgrades Complete relevant documentation for project participation in a timely manner Help drive quality of each completed project to the company's standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred At least 2 years of experience in the solar and battery industry Strong ability to handle pressure and solve problems Self-motivated and driven Willing to travel throughout Puerto Rico Legally authorized to work in the United States The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
