Job Description:  Our client  is currently seeking a skilled Buyer to join our food-service division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our supply chain management, driving purchasing strategies, negotiations, and agreements to optimize our operations. This position offers ample opportunities for professional development and growth within our organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute purchasing strategies to meet business objectives. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and plan inventory levels. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the supply chain. Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as needed. Oversee the implementation of purchasing systems and processes to streamline operations. Monitor market trends and industry developments to inform purchasing decisions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of three years of work experience in a purchasing department, preferably within the same industry. Proven experience in planning, negotiations, and contract management. Demonstrated integrity and the ability to challenge others when necessary respectfully. Technical understanding of automotive processes, components, and supply chain management. Familiarity with purchasing systems and tools. Ability to drive value, reduce costs, and drive business improvements.
