Medtronic walks the walk, creating an inclusive culture where you can thrive.A Day in the LifeShift: Week 1 (Saturday, Sunday, Thursday & Friday -6pm to 6am)Week 2 (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday -6pm to 6am)Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s).Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.In conjunction with Supervisor ensures appropriate number of team members are in place (available).Verifies team members are certified to perform the operations in their standardized work.Provides short-term coverage for team members in work cell and supports while required.In partnership with Project Manager/ Supervisor agrees to daily schedule/activities and provide feedback as appropriate to help maintain level operations and ensure schedule is achieved.Communicates and escalate any abnormality immediately.Continuously observes and report the performance of each cell.Responds to abnormalities identified by the cell team member in a timely manner.Promptly escalates to appropriate support team (tier system) to ensure issues are resolved and enable production activity to return to normal.Creates flexibility by identifying knowledge gaps on skills and techniques and certifying team members to required work steps. Maintain training matrix based on project needs.Encourages cooperation and commitment within team to achieve goals.Good knowledge of Global Factory Works (including reporting), Pentaho, SAP (including notifications) and Excel.Maintain excellent interpersonal relations with team members, piers and supporting team.Available to continuous support weekends; non-regular hours in a daily basis must be required.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsMinimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experienceNice to HaveExcel KnowledgeExperience with KPI'sCell Operation System Knowledge (Subsystems)People ManagementStrategic ManagementAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
