AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job) Ensure that environmental issues are an integral part of the responsibilities of line management and part of its objectives. Ensure that workplace procedures comply with local environmental regulations, guidelines, and international standards, keeping them updated. Assist the operational line. Supervision of environmental objectives. Communication of environmental issues to contractors, subcontractors, and communities. Identification of environmental risks in each area and work center. Maintain plans, programs and procedures as specified in the environmental standard. Verify compliance with the preventive measures, mitigation and restoration contained in the environmental authorization. Ensure the implementation and monitoring of waste management systems in every operation and work center business unit, including contractors and subcontractors.
