Financial Analyst - Añasco

The incumbent will support cost accounting or general accounting processes, as well as a special project. Perform month end closing activities (explain variances, post journal entries, actual reporting). Review, analyze and monthly report manufacturing variances (Material, Spending, Labor) and/or budget vs actual spending variances). Gather financial data (e.g., scrap, volume, labor costs) and analyze it to identify major contributors to variances. Assist with the forecasting and annual operating plan (AOP). Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations for assigned areas. Support general and cost accounting reports creation (e.g., Volume/Absorption, Labor Hours). Identify areas of improvement and propose recommendations to management. Partnering with manufacturing and support areas. Facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement projects (e.g., automation, waste elimination).Requisitos:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 2-4 years of previous experience in Cost Accounting and/or General Accounting, or master's degree or equivalent in related field, preferred. Strict attention to detail and superb analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite required; integrated systems (e.g., JDE) preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship, and negotiation skills. Able to read, write, comprehend, and speak Spanish and English. (Professional services contract until Dec. 2024) (182653)
