Position Summary Collaborate with internal/external loan partners to ensure timely review and processing of executed loan closing documents, collateral and MERS processes and any other post-closing conditions to prepare loan for shipping/purchase. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Funding imports to warehouse bank. Follow up on missing collateral / original closing documents and maintain accurate collateral tracking records. Review and resolve exceptions on reports from custodian and/or warehouse banks. Provide required documents to resolve QC and/or file requests from warehouse banks . Review collateral and executed loan closing documents to ensure accuracy and completion. Upload revised executed loan closing documents to system of records. Communicate with internal/external loan partners to resolve post-closing conditions. MERS Registrations, Transfers, Updates, etc. The above functions are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this job. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ years of post-closing and shipping experience. General knowledge of mortgage origination process. Attention to detail, initiative to resolve outstanding issues and follow through until completion. Ability to maintain a knowledge of lending guidelines, investor programs, industry requirements, and industry changes. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of professional integrity. Maintains a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and work relationship with co-workers and supervisor. Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic, constantly changing environment. Attention to detail and quality focused. General understanding of mortgage closing documents. Encompass experience preferred.
