Planner/Buyer

Planner/Buyer with experience in regulated industry to coordinate effectively the material planning and purchasing functions and ensuring timely delivery of components to production.Compares and verifies purchase orders against forecasted raw material, components and related requirements to ensure adequate supplies are ordered for production.Reviews and analyzes statistical data to determine buying trends/volumes and to establish price objectives and/or opportunities.Reviews comparison charts, proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers with respect to cost, quality and delivery for nonstandard or larger than normal orders.Manage and maintain inventory Inventories goods receives and identified discrepanciesCheck schedule delivery dates and make contact with suppliers on late deliveriesEscalates issued and notifies appropriate personnel.Requisitos:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and three (3) years of experience in related areaBilingual (Spanish/English - Spoken/Written)Computer literacySAP
