Our Operations Development Program is a two-year entry-level program focused on developing high potential talent for AbbVie Operations globally. This program combines hands-on experiences and career mentoring with technical and leadership training to accelerate professional development. Members will graduate with a diverse experience, technical ability, and the self-confidence to make remarkable impact for our patients. Over the course of the three year program, members develop their careers through three eight-month rotations designed to provide them with desired skills needed for future success within our organization. As a member you will: Be a regular full-time employee of AbbVie and qualify for the same competitive salary and benefits as other AbbVie employees. Assume full responsibility of a role that matches your educational training. Develop a well-rounded skill set through each of your assignments. Have the opportunity to relocate to various sites globally. Be paired with a mentor to assist in the development of your career. Create a personalized development plan to serve as a step-by-step guide towards the experiences, knowledge and resources necessary to achieve your career goals. Obtain training customized to support your individual growth and development. Report to a department manager in each assignment who will oversee your day-to-day responsibilities. Receive leadership training in collaboration with other functional development programs once a year. Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or Biotechnology. Minimum of 3.0 GPA Strong academic performance and extra-curricular achievement. Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, integrity and professional maturity Engineering related internship/co-op/work experience. No more than one year of work experience to qualify for the entry-level program.
