Position Title: Assistant Manager, Market Activation - Jameson (Miami) Position Location: Miami, FL Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist the Market Activation Manager and distributor trade development teams in the execution of local market plans and programs. The incumbent will serve as key support to the Florida Division and liaison between HQ, the local Market team and the Distributor teams in regard to all Jameson commercial program information. Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Market Activation: Stands in for MAM for Activation requirements in periods of personnel changes- manages major programs, supports planning responsibilities, orders POS Sponsorship oversight for key events as the PRUSA representative to sponsor and manages agency execution. Participates in the annual planning process for JAMESON, providing comprehensive packaging of information required for the process Prepares Marketing Activation project due date summary worksheet Manage National POS: Communicate program elements & cost to division and providing summary by market of units & expenditures—researches viability by channel Compiles brand information into support GSMs, Fiscal Kick-Off, Holiday Meetings, QBRs and other team meetings Deliver output on ad-hoc project and information requests, including national newsletters, requests for COMEX meetings, Trade/PR events, PR Global/Comex visits, and local Trade events, etc Manages the Jameson Brand Ambassador Provides markets with assistance in the execution of customer, consumer and trade events Collaborates with Division Marketing Coordinator to source and manage local vendors and agencies for development, localization, and customization of local sales promotional programs to include local VAP development, Blitz kit development, outside collaborations such as Mixer partners, etc. Collaborates with Division Digital Coordinator to partner with local digital partners, customize content, assets, sweepstakes programming, special event promotion pre/post, etc Sales Operations: Plans for Division meetings in cooperation with Division leadership team and Senior Administrator in terms of meeting space, presentations, agenda, and presenting to all attendees Participates in the development of biannual CODI meeting presentation decks Collaborates on content development for monthly Division conference calls by driving the agenda development with Leadership Team and presenting Marketing updates Sends out monthly marketing updates for JAMESON brands during Power periods Collaborate in the development of planning templates and distributor program planners, gathers summary of the local market input Act as conduit between HQ operations team and Division to ensure that all markets have ordered their allocations of VAP & ensures markets are aware of new item information details/ order availability dates & discontinued items. Work closely with Nielsen team at HQ to secure ad hoc analysis and pull monthly reports for the Division Support/assist field sales team in the planning and execution of annual POS & VAP buys (w/RMs/MMs) Ensure retail & distributor execution meets brand standards, logo usage guidelines, legal mandatories, and agreed upon program KPIs and objectives (w/RMs/MMs) Communicate program elements and logistics (w/HQ Brand Activation Teams) Work closely with Finance team on budget tracking, linking national POS buys, purchase orders and any APO requests. Nature & Scope: Key Metrics: Successfully executed local and national program (elements ordered comparted to targeted account universe) Optimized POS/VAP budgets and buys Creative and effective development of business building marketing activation in designated markets Quality of performance feedback from RMs and MMs Financial Targets: Collaborates with MAM to align A&P budget management /-5% Organizational Context: Direct line report to Market Activation Director or Manager Works closely with Market Activation Managers, RMs/MMs Frequently and proactively communicates with distributor Trade Development team Works closely with HQ Marketing, sales promotion, and POS logistics teams in HQ Provides foundational skills and training for Market Activation Manager role Key Requirements: Education: BA/BS highly required Experience / Background: 3-5 years of proven success in CPG Sales or Marketing function. Wine and Spirits experience is a plus. Travel: Approx 50% - in state Who are we?
