The Diabetes Associate Inside Sales Representative is a member of an inside sales team who works in partnership to process and provide support in document collection and order processing. In this role, the Diabetes Associate Inside Sales Representative will foster strong relationships with health care providers office staff and insurance companies' representatives. The Associate Inside Sales Representative will be in collaborating with, field sales, health insurance and the inside sales teams to ensure to provide best service to customers and sales goals are met. A DAY IN THE LIFE: Remotely sells Medtronic's products and retains end-user patients in Puerto Rico and /or specific customer accounts to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals. Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate. Provides input on new business opportunities, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services to customers. Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems. Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas Thoroughly understand product line features, benefits and proof sources Meet or exceed required selling activity metrics set by management Establish excellent relationships with all healthcare professionals and physicians Develop a thorough understanding and ability to communicate the reimbursement process for our products Provide solution-oriented strategies to facilitate product adoption and accelerate sales growth MUST HAVE - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE BE SURE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of company products and services NICE TO HAVE Established business planning and forecasting experience Demonstrated formal sales skills training Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas Good understanding of Puerto Rico Health Care Insurance Environment Good computer skills with specific skills in Microsoft Office: Power point, Excel, and Word Inside Sales/Remote Sales experience Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business preferred Medical device experience preferably in Diabetes Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel Strong desire to learn and grow professionally Excellence in process management and organizational agility About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
