Role Overview This position is a seasoned Automation/Robotics Engineering professional working independently. Automation Engineers devise, build up, mount and keep an eye on instrumentation and control systems that sense, quantify and run functioning processes. Their work differs from supervising extensive system projects to contributing know-how on particular portions. An Automation Engineer also devise specification and in depth documentation for their design. They must be great trouble-shooters and must be up to date with the latest technology. Automation Engineers makes sure that field devices, instrumentation systems, communication networks and interfaces are working properly. They do regular preventive upholding to make certain that equipment's maintain to run smoothly. Automation Engineers also build up and instigate advanced testing methodologies and makes use of a combination of testing techniques. They work together with field group, contractors, consulting firms and retailers to pull off expected quality levels in merchandise. Drive for processes automation within the site Qualifications: Candidates for this role should possess: Bachelor's degree in Automation, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Having supplementary courses in databases, statistics and robotics is a plus) 5 years of prior automation and/or robotics experience on PLC Preferred Qualifications: Programming skills in Visual Basic, C, FANUC, and/or NC, is a plus. Ability to perform oral presentations in front of groups. Ability to plan own work and prioritize tasks. Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work well in a team environment. Aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts. Familiarity with test, integration, and validation techniques. Working knowledge of some or all of the following quality assurance methods: unit, integration, regression, and user interface testing. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Ability to work under pressure and with multiple priorities is a must. Planning skills and ability to execute plans in dynamic and rapidly changing circumstances. Flexibility and willingness to deal with change and complexity is highly required. Excellent communication (written/oral), interpersonal and influencing skills. Customer focused and quality oriented.
