General Description
The Business Analyst provides support in the design and execution of strategies for all business units within the Financial and Insurance Services Group. Role will analyze FIS Units financial results and prepare reporting to ease the decision-making process. Employee will be working with Group Managers and Division Managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare monthly reporting packages for management and analyze and explain significant financial variances and metrics to identify areas of opportunities or potential savings.
Prepare Quarterly and Annual reporting for Board of Directors and Senior Management Team.
Review and analyze assigned budget for all FIS business units.
Provide support in the design and execution of business strategies and provide update of progress.
Coordinate the Strategic Planning Process for the FIS Group and serve as liaison with Corporate Strategic Planning.
Support the customer and product profitability assessment.
Support business units with initiatives that require teamwork and participate in special projects, as needed.
Coordinate other administrative tasks at Group level, such as organizational changes, special reports or projects as required by other groups.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from an accredited university or college (concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred).
Experience
A minimum of two (2) years of work experience managing and analyzing financial information.
Certifications / Licenses
No certifications or license needed.
Other Qualifications
Analytical thinker with knowledge and skill in the analysis and interpretation of business financial information.
Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and with minimal supervision.
