Job Summary The beautiful Embassy Suites San Juan Hotel & Casino is looking for their next Casino Shift Manager! A Casino Shift Manager oversees the daily operation and administration of the Table Games Department and overall floor operation.

This position will report into the Director of Casino Operations and oversee a team of 15-18 day to day on the casino floor.

What will I be doing?
A Casino Shift Manager will oversee the daily operation and administration of the Table Games Department and overall floor operation. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Authorizing credit in accordance to the established credit policies and procedures
- Assumes the duties of the Casino Director in his/ her absence.
- Approves complimentary privileges to qualified players
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed properly
- Makes cost effective and revenue decisions
- Responsible for the hiring, disciplining and evaluation of all staff
- Assist theaccounting Department with the collection of accounts
- Act as liaison between Casino and other departments
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Attend meetings/training as required by management.
- Assist all audit processes
- Comply at all times with Hilton standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Hotel and Casino operations
- Complies at all times with regulatory, departmental and company policies, also with federal and local laws
- Approach all encounters with guests and fellow employees in a friendly, service oriented manner
- Must be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times

- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including, anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving co-worker and guest problems as necessary

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- College degree preferred
- Supervisory experience desired
- Able to work evenings, weekends and rotating shifts
- Criminal Background/ Credit Check
- Casino license required
- Table Games knowledge
