PR is designated as an OCONUS Non-foreign area. Initial Service Agreement is for a 2-year tour. Salary shown in this announcement includes a Locality Payment of 15.67% for this Non-Foreign Area. An adjusted Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) rate of 3.29% is not reflected in the salary shown.ResponsibilitiesServe as Director of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (DPTMS) Directorate at a medium size installation. Directs, plans, manages and coordinates DPTMS programs and resources.Manages, leads, supervises, assigns, and evaluates the work of subordinates.Recommends adjustments to the organizational structure to match the current operating requirements.Review, analyze, and interpret Operations Orders (OPORDS) and TASKERS, policy directives and guidance as received from higher headquarters.Executes all contingency plans necessary for rapid reaction to domestic emergencies, acts of terrorism, and natural disasters associated with earthquakes and weather phenomena.Responsible for all installation plans and policies pertaining to major ceremonies, special events, emergency preparedness, contingency operations, exercises and other military functions effecting the Installation.During emergency situations executes emergency plans, and supervises all Emergency Operations Center (EOC) functions to include contingency and disaster relief operations.Travel RequiredOccasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position. 15% or less of travel time is required.Supervisory statusYesPromotion Potential13
