Description:
- Going to assist in the strategic planning and the logical architectures of the client. Basically, own a particular area. Openings are: Commerce Architect, Order Management Architect and need a general purpose architect.
- Will be slotted into places. Goal: Will be creating IT standards, develop logical architectures and educate the people under them (Solutions Architects) as to what the overall architecture is.
- The Enterprise Architects are taking an inventory of all of the existing systems, they are determining the role of those individual systems have, from that they develop capability gaps as to where the business wants to go. So, they take the business roadmaps on existing systems and come up with a logical model of what is necessary to achieve the business vision and identify the gaps existing systems and our desired roadmap. Then, say these are the components that have to be built. Then the solutions architect steps in and says, this is how they will be built.
- Need to be current on MicroServices Architecture and MicroServices implementations. Not important Java. They need to be very familiar with Event Driven Architecture, MicroServices Architectures, and deploying solutions to the cloud (specifically AWS).
