Duties SummaryThe VACHS is a Joint Commission accredited, complexity system level 1a of care, serving Veterans in PR and the USVI. VACHS is located in Sand Juan, PR and 10 Outpatient Clinics (OPCs) located throughout PR and the USVI. The VACHS includes multi-disciplinary ambulatory facilities, and 378 operational acute care beds including 10 blind rehabilitation beds, a Spinal Cord Injury/Diseases Unit, and 110 operational nursing home beds.Responsibilities Services are provided to a population of approximately 93,000 Veterans residing in PR and the USVI.
