The specific manager role that we are looking for is a strategic position that manages the Commercial results for Medical Caribbean, Vision Care PR and the a Management Reporting Co. in Miami. Handles the Fixed assets module in SAP for instruments. Also manages the Time and Attendance functions for all PR and some sites in USA. Will manage 6 J&J resources and 5 Contractors. This position reports into the Financial Controller Responsibilities: - Responsible for providing a full P&L statement for the Medical Caribbean Commercial operation Business (MRC 1757) and Vistakon PR (MRC 2165). Review P&L and BS balances with the BUF and GS controllers. Provide timely financial information to Medical and Vistakon Business Partners with monthly commentaries and operations metrics. Provide insight financial information for the preparation of Business Plans, Forecast, Updates and strategic plans. Participate in strategic meetings, provides ideas and insights to improve business results Supervise gross sales recording, AR reserves, rebates, discounts, etc. for Medical Caribbean. Make sure to submit sales information to J&J Corporate on time and with quality. Make sure revenues are recorded based on the new revenue recognition standard. Supervise the performing of MIRO transactions in SAP BtB for medical PR and Panama. Establish metrics and provide recommendations for improvements. Supervise the process of capitalizing, adjustments and disposals of instruments thru the Mymedset module. Perform a physical inventory every three years as per WW’s. Implement changes to accounting standards and J&J Policies as published in WWP’s. Update DTPs accordingly. Keep expenses and headcount within budgets commitments. Submit all requirements for Medical Caribbean PR to the GS Bogota center for reporting into Bravo. Responsible of responding all CCR and PwC observations on a timely manner. Provide pending information and thorough analyses to close open items. Coordinate, develop and implement corrective action plans for all SOX activities as defined under the CCR program (CIA) for supported MRC’s. Aggressively pursue process improvements initiatives. Keep a Business Continuity Plan updated and current for areas of responsibilities. This should include back up plans for resources, detailed documentation and alternate facilities Maintain a safe working environment. Perform bank signatory functions as one of the GS PR approvers for all PR Bank accounts. Prepare actionable development plans for direct reports by providing the right skills, tools and experiences for current and future professional growth. Perform Other projects as required by management. Qualifications Requirements/Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years business experience in Accounting or Finance or related field required. An advanced certification such as Certified Public Accounting (CPA) accounting designation or anything similar is preferable. At least Five (5) years of experience in a Finance or Accounting operations for a multinational company is required. Experience in cost and general accounting cycle is required. Previous supervisory experience with ability to think creatively and have demonstrated leadership skills in cross functional teams. Advanced computer skills and use of software application(s) including MS Office are required; Knowledge in SAP is required. A Process oriented mindset with proven ability and skills to design & document new processes, make recommendations, implement process improvements, work independently and handle complex situations is required. Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, influencing and business partnering skills are required. Available to work extended hours when required. Provide on call support after working hours when required. Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish, oral and written) is required. This position may require fifteen percent (15%) or more for travel.
