As the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will: • Responsible for the development and coordination of production associates in order to ensure attainment to the business plan and area KPIs. • Initiates and monitors process deviations records. • Provides guidance and coach associates on the supply chain process. • Works with the different support departments and resources to troubleshoot and resolve process and technical problems. • Responsible for all activities in the Packaging process. • Works with other areas supervisors to ensure operational excellence throughout the supply chain. • Ensures process is in compliance with cGMPs safety and environmental procedures. • Accountable for SOPs changes and maintenance of the visuals in the packaging area. Qualifications A minimum of an Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Science, Pharmacy, Engineering or other related field is required. At least six (6) years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry or other regulated related field is required. At least one (1) year of experience executing as Supervisor or two (2) years of experience as a Team/Group Leader is required. Knowledge in labor procedures, safety and environmental controls is required. Ability to apply root cause analysis skills is preferred. Knowledge in packaging process, bottles and blisters packaging is preferred. Knowledge of cGMPs and compliance is required. Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio and Outlook). Knowledge in SAP and Trackwise is preferred. Proficient in English and Spanish (oral and written) is required. Availability to work third 3rd Shift This position requires up to ten percent (10%) of travel. Ability to work extra hours and to respond to emergency calls that may require returning to the company after regular working hours of the business is required.
