Provide direct supervision of internal or external individuals including mentoring, performance management and staffing decisions. Manage all activities of internal/external resources within the group. Responsible for budget commitments and forecasting for the group. Accountable for plant local IT infrastructure, networks and computer systems operations Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Project or team leadership required. Good sense of business knowledge. Ability to lead, coach, motivates, inspire and influence. Strong hands on technical abilities in infrastructure and IT services. Experience with regulatory GMP's 21CFR part 11 and computer system validations (CSV). Demonstrated working experience in the installation and administration of two or more of the following hosts and file server operating systems environments: Windows Server 2003 & 2008, VMware. Working experience in the installation, administration and fine-tuning on two or more of the following manufacturing systems: Shop Floor, MRP, PDM, LIMS, MES, etc. Knowledge and exposure to network communication protocols and cabling services. Overall knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and exposure to programming tools such as MS Visual Basic, Java, C++, etc. Ability to work with multiple priorities while having good organizational skills. Knowledge in one or more of the following SQL engines: Oracle, MS SQL, and/or IBM DB2. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or relevant work experience 8 years of systems experience including 2 years of leadership LANGUAGE SKILLS Able to read, write, speak and understand English at a good comprehensive level.
