Job Description We are seeking a Four-Star Hotel Sous Chef to join our team in Upstate New York . As a team member you will be responsible for providing customers with a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities: • Work under the direction of the Executive Chef in a 4-star resort atmosphere • Assist in the tracking and maintaining food inventory • Follow a set menu where all food is scratch-made daily • Assist in leading, coaching, and training line cooks • Assist in the training and managing of the kitchen staff • Maximize the productivity of kitchen staff • Ensure all safety / sanitation guidelines are met and exceeded in every aspect Qualifications: • At least 3 years’ experience as an Sous Chef in a hotel or similar setting • Strong leadership qualities and desire to achieve • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Dedicated to professional growth for yourself and your team • Strong attention to detail Company Description This majestic Upstate New York hotel exudes the charm and gracious hospitality of a bygone era, while providing a wealth of modern amenities and contemporary conveniences.
