Ensure that employees receive their pay in a correct time frame and in accordance to their punched hours. Maintains correct time balances for employees according to that established by the Puerto Rico Laws. Required to exercise independent judgement over an established payroll function.
Runs payroll report from the Accounting System and ensures proper deductions for employees.
New employee orientation in areas such as payroll procedures, time stub delivery among others.
Transfer information from attendance software to our Accounting system to continue with the payroll process Supervisors for training of time keeping system.
Prepares worker’s compensation requests to cover insurance for orders received by our clients.
Assists in yearly 401K audits providing information and data requested by said auditor.
Manage all missing information from 401K employee request form.
Digitalized all time sheets in the Accounting Software.
Digitalized all CFSE endorsement and send them to final user.
Maintains personal information of employees in different accounting systems.
Prepared and present different reports such as vacation and sick accruals, hours worked among others
Experienced in Quickbooks or Peachtree.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in field related to Accounting or Finance areas, and 2 years of experience / or 5 years of direct experience performing payroll functions.
