Loss of military membership will result in immediate loss of your full-time military technician position. Excepted Civil Service Technicians are required to maintain a MOS/AFSC and military grade that is determined by the NGB to be compatible with the assigned technician position. No history of excessive alcohol use or been arrested in the past two years for two or more alcohol related incidents regardless of disposition, except when proven not guilty. COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT: In order to achieve compatibility prior to effective date of personnel action, individual selected must be eligible for military assignment to a paragraph and line number in one of the following: AFSC 3P0X1 Individual selected for this position who is not qualified in one of the mentioned BR/CMF/MOS, MUST submit to HRO, before date of appointment, the correct military paperwork/application to attend the technical training school required to be MOS Qualified. If selectee fails to process the school application and does not successfully graduate from the school, he/she will be terminated from the technician program for failure to meet the compatibility standards and receive a 30 days notice of separation. Also, have general experience performing functions such as weapon systems and resource security, air base defense, law enforcement; and, if applicable for the position, experience in handling military working dog functions or combat arms functions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess more than TWELVE (12) months of specialized experience performing or supervising duties such as working experience of the full range of security and security forces requirements, procedures and tactics; police and law enforcement services; protection level resources; integrated defense; active shooter; less than lethal weaponry; external/internal security response teams; entry control/circulation; biometric identification systems and restricted area badge usage; enforcing pertinent administrative rules and regulations governing traffic control, parking, building or other facility access and breaches in physical security controls; monitoring the locations of all posts, alarm systems, closed circuit television systems and telephone/radio networks; seeking, detecting, and protecting evidence and witnesses at the scene of an incident and detaining witnesses and suspects; working experience with federal laws, regulations, methods, procedures, operating techniques, state, and local laws; performing a full range of operations, preventing or resolving offenses. Education SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For entry into this specialty, completion of high school or General Equivalency Diploma is mandatory. Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified.
