SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Plans production at Romark (Manati) manufacturing site based on customer and/or Romark forecasts while accomplishing predetermined inventory levels for Raw Materials, WIP and Finished Goods. Coordinates on time delivery of product to customers and Romark’s warehouses & Contract Manufacturing (CM’s) Facilities. Maintains Production Planning and Inventory data in Ross ERP System, including inventory at CM’s & Warehouses. Represents Supply Chain as their ERP Subject Matter Expert.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Prepares production schedules for the Manati site ensuring adequate Finished Goods levels are achieved and customer orders are delivered per required PO dates.
Coordinates on time availability of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and Work in Process to support the production schedule. Establishes production priorities for QA, QC Lab, Purchasing and Warehouse.
Works closely with functional teams to resolve material, equipment and manpower bottlenecks while implementing short and long-term solutions.
Creates and maintains products and recipes in Ross ERP system.
Identifies problems that might affect the production plan and/or on time delivery of finished product to customers; escalates to upper management for resolution.
Maintains production schedules in ERP system, issues work orders to manufacturing for lots to be manufactured and packaged, and monitors on time and accurate reporting of material receipts, release and consumption, production yields and product shipments for the Manati site.
Updates consumption and production transactions for Romark owned API and products at CM facilities, and inventory movements to/from Romark warehouses and CM’s in Ross Virtual Manufacturing system.
Represents Supply Chain as the ERP Subject Matter Expert. Participates in ERP implementation teams and improvement initiatives or changes related to the ERP system. Generates ERP reports related to inventory, production/material variances, shortages, etc.
Reports inventory on a monthly basis, and explains variances.
Implements and reports KPI’s related to Plan Attainment, on-time delivery performance, etc.
Coordinates on time shipment of product to Romark Customers and Contract Manufacturers with Warehouse representatives.
Supports Purchasing in the processing of Purchase Orders and/or expediting material deliveries, and serving as their backup, as needed.
Supports Warehouse coordinating product deliveries or shipments with carriers, ensuring prompt dispatching of materials/product to manufacturing areas, ensuring accuracy of inventories reported in ERP system, etc.
Maintains a professional housekeeping system for workspace and related areas to assure a clean, orderly, safe and secure environment.
Maintains updated knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, and environmental and safety regulations.
Stays current with the plant’s training curriculum and certifications requirements.
Adheres to daily work assignments.
Any other related duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing.
A minimum 3 years of proven Planning or Purchasing work experience, or related field (i.e.: Production or Industrial Engineering.)
A minimum of 3 years of hands on experience with ERP systems, preferably having participated in ERP implementations.
Fully bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
Software proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; ability to apply concepts of basic statistics, algebra and geometry
Have the ability to work with precision, accuracy and reliability.
Proven track record of delivering high performance.
Experienced in the development of tools, resources, programs, and processes
