General Description
Successfully leads all aspects of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within established time frame and funding parameters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the execution of process improvements projects throughout the organization, as well as other activities to promote a culture focused on continuous processes optimization that simplifies the processes of our internal and external customers. Understand the current business needs and develop strategies to provide solutions focused on achieving the established objectives. Analyze the data using quantitative methods to facilitate the analysis and the identification of process improvements solutions.
Responsible of providing support to business units in the sustainability of completed process improvements projects (including but not limited to defining the appropriate indicators to monitor sustainability of improvements) and to promote a continuous improvement mindset. Participate in the development of procedures and users’ manuals that will support the sustainability of completed projects.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, promote teamwork and facilitate the communication between consultants, support teams and business units. Prepare trainings and corporate presentations to an audience of 10 or more participants.
Education
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineer, Operational Management, Business Administration or Business and Statistics combined.
Experience
At least one year of related experience in process optimization and/or management of multiple projects.
Certifications / Licenses
Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt
Lean Six Sigma - Black Belt
PMP
Other Qualifications
Excellent leadership skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical skills to evaluate processes using statistical analysis.
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
Knowledgeable in LEAN, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability in requirements gathering processes, traceability to testing procedures and documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and meet established deadlines.
Proficient in the use of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills verbal and written in English and Spanish.
