Quality Assurance Assistant POSITION SUMMARY Provide administrative and program support to the Senior Director and personnel of the Assessment Operations unit with primary responsibilities in QA activities. Responsible for receiving QA tollgates and documents and register them timely and efficiently. Maintain high standards of quality assurance. Provide support to the Quality Assurance team in process checks and Quality Control activities like tollgates verification and approval, operational incidents review, report generation and approval and quality audits. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality document control system. Support the generation of performance data and metrics of the QA team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Receive and register the QA tollgates and documents for review and final disposition requests, participate in the review of assigned jobs and coordinate with the supervisor of the team their processing. Identify risk factors or possible process errors within operational management and QA unit. Monitor the QA workload and tollgates releases and prepare, analyze and communicate daily and monthly activities reports of the area results. Visit the warehouse facility, as needed, to review and approve scoring, distribution and dispatch orders and testing results. Develop and maintain proper documentation of Quality System procedures, forms and checklists used at the office. Report all Quality irregularities to the supervisor for appropriate action s and investigate as requested. Provide clerical support to the supervisor, including data entry. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: A degree in Education, Science or related field or equivalent experience Experience: One to two years of experience performing quality control functions or similar duties Related Skills Other Requirements: Knowledge of quality control process Language skills in Spanish and good communication skills in English Computer literacy Basic knowledge of applications like words and excel Organizational skills Attention to details skills Good interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively and comply with due dates.
