What Inside Sales contributes to Cardinal Health Inside Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. The sales cycles will tend to be simple and short-term in nature and may or may not lead to a long term customer relationship. Can sometimes be viewed as cold calling, telesales. Accountabilities Inside sales of generic product within pharmacy sector. Development of new accounts. Support/Cover routes during vacation and sick leave licenses as per business need. Manage and offer appropriate solutions to meet customer needs. Manage products backorders. System Data Entry. Provide customer service to clients. Price Management. Qualifications A minimum of Associate Degree is required; in a Pharmacy field is preferred. High School Diploma or Equivalent related work experience will be considered. A minimum of 2 years previous sales related experience is required. Experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) is required. Must have excellent communication skills. Fluent in English and Spanish verbal and written is required. What is expected of you and others at this level Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks. Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution. Refers to policies and past practices for guidance. Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments. Refers to policies and past practices for guidance.
