Position Summary: Performs sales and service related functions in support of the goals of District Live in Puerto Rico, by performing the following duties: Essential Functions: Sponsorship and Sales: Assist in the generation of sponsorship, premium and event sales for the facility and events Evaluate and tack available inventory of signage opportunities and premium sales Conduct basic market research on competitive facilities, prominent brands, suppliers and companies within the market Help create packages for potential sponsors and premium clients based on inventory, market trends and financial goals of the facility Implement sales goals and objectives Help negotiate and execute sales contracts and addendums Help create, lead and deliver presentations with the VP, Partnership Sales Oversee/coordinate fulfillment of contracted sponsorships at the facility Create essential collateral materials to develop advertising, direct mail, e-mail, public relations and other efforts to promote sponsorship Monitor client and venue compliance with contracts Monitor billing and payment of sponsorships Provide on-going support and service to existing clients Be involved in community activities to promote the image of the facility Maintain database of sales leads and make occasional sales calls Encourage potential clients to visit facility and give tours of the facility Suite Management: Manage all facility suite and club contracts Provide event information to suite holders and club members and process ticket orders Monitor suite and club maintenance with regular walk thru with facility operations department Monitor alcohol compliance in suites and clubs with regular walk thru with facility concessionaire Obtain insurance from all new suite holders as needed Do customer satisfaction surveys from time to time Monitor suite holders and club members closely to make sure that customer satisfaction is maintained at a highest level possible Handle any complaints in a timely and positive manner Work with all departments to insure that suite holder and club member experiences are top quality at all times Be available 24/7 by telephone to handle any suite related issue Other tasks as directed. Entertainment Management: Facilitate entertainment contracts Assist supervisor with collateral materials, social media and other marketing programs Maintain theater booking calendar Develop and maintain positive promoter relationships Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related field. or equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in sales and marketing, preferably with an arena, entertainment venue and/or convention center Customer service is focal point of the position. Must be able to maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment Detailed organization skills are essential Able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results Demonstrate knowledge and experience in the principals and practices of social media, public relations, advertising, marketing and sales techniques Basic understanding of the sales process Effectively communicate with others in oral, presentation and written form Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur Be available to work extended hours and weekends/evenings when necessary AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
