Details Harris Recording Solutions, is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager/Director responsible for leading a geographically dispersed sales team, developing and executing sales strategies for achieving annual quotas and revenue targets. Our ideal candidate is a highly-motivated, hands-on sales leader who has demonstrated in his/her's past the ability to develop a sales system that is measurable and repeatable. Our sales strategy calls for both maximizing the penetration of our software products and services into our customer base as well as driving the acquisition of increased market share in our targeted regions. The Sales & Marketing Manager/Director is a member of the executive leadership team and is intimately active in our sales efforts, carrying a territory and a quota, with the highest priorities being our financial performance and creating an organization that endures forever. Primary Functions Responsibility for the resources, budgeting, utilization and P/L for the sales & marketing department Develop and execute plans and strategies to achieve the company's sales goals of more than $6M in sales to new and existing customers by 2020. Channel the culture and core values of Harris into the sales organization Define the optimal sales force structure to reach revenue objectives while maintaining the cost of the sales organization in sync with the established budget objectives: Structure the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth Define the personnel profiles needed to achieve the revenue goals and hire and develop sales staff Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required Manage key customers' expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function (CRM tools , analytical tools) Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting in a timely fashion Identify, implement, and constantly evaluate sales & marketing activities that support our objectives. Ensure the compilation of information and data capture related to customer and prospect interactions by sales force in the CRM tool Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and peers Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships Qualifications University degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment; Experience with sales to local government agencies is considered a strong asset Self-starter & driven individual with a hunter mentality, competitive spirit, and excellent ability to execute and sustain with a high sense of urgency. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport across the company and our customers. Experience utilizing a CRM system. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work as a team member as well as a liaison with clients/potential clients.
