Senior Associate, Technical Project Management - Description The Senior Associate Technical Project Manager will be responsible of analyzing all the business requirements, collaborating and supporting projects from initiation to closure.
Actively participating in the in technical documents creation according to the Santander format (DDR and DDS). Will be involved in the whole development and deployment to production processes, including preproduction and production deployment plans, committees, post-deployment validations and finally, will support Production environment.

The Senior Associate Technical Project Manager will manage project technical definition, developments, implementation, risk identification and he/she will report project status.

This position will support Commercial/Corporate Banking Projects, specialized in outsource and communication services

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the development of project definition and scope with applicable stakeholders
- Identify project duration, effort, sequence, and dependencies of tasks required to meet applicable project objectives
- Document the development and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standards
- Conduct Project Team meetings and situational analysis regularly to ensure appropriate communication to all stakeholders
- Develop presentations, dashboards, reports and other team and executive level project communications and documentation
- Document and communicate project changes, project health and project status to project team, Business Owner and Executive Sponsor
- This position may have people management responsibility
- Accountable for the project management process and project management deliverables for all assigned projects from initiation thru closure.
- Adhere to Santander Bank project management standards by ensuring that recognized project management processes, discipline and controls are consistently applied to projects from initiation through closure
- Accountable for the project management process and project management deliverables for all assigned projects
- Participate in the funding process as appropriate
- 4 years formal project management experience in development and integration processes
- 2 years relevant financial services experience preferred.
Knowledge of functional area may be required
- Ability to analyze project data, metrics and financials, making data-driven analytical decisions
- Understanding, application, and ability to articulate industry project management principles, theories, and concepts
- Demonstrated experience engaging the support and resources of others to achieve project goals and objectives; influencing without authority
- Significant experience in building project planning documents
- Able to manage all aspects of multiple projects, deliverables and timelines
- Proven experience prioritizing, budgeting, estimating, project implementation

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science or equivalent or equivalent work experience

- 4-7 years managing technical projects

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master (CSM) certification, or PMP-ACP, or CAPM certification desired

- Ability to communicate and work effectively with other team members across the Bank

- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

- Proven ability to motivate teams and drive a common goal

- Proven track record of successful technical project delivery

- Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

- Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills

- Strong project management and quality assurance skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking
