Also accountable for providing support and guidance to manage the organization's collaborative and productivity tools with the aim of improving processes, functionality, stake holder buys in; and stake holder familiarity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Analyses and assesses existing business systems and procedures to ensure implementation of process improvement and maximize utilization and efficiency of these business systems. Analyses and develops solutions for identified business needs and ensure the proper documentation and end user training related to this development. Collaborates with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications. Assists in the definition, development, and documentation of software's business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments. Conducts research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of business needs, strategies and continue improvement processes. Liaises with vendors for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of any adaptation issues. Works closely with the Business and IT Management to improve, maximizing utilization, developing, implementation and maintaining process improvements in existing tools and new applications such as Office 365, Share Point and others productivity/business tools, including new technology like mobile devices support to the business. Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues. Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans (including validation). Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams. Flexible and adaptable regarding learning and understanding new technologies. Developing VB, .Net, Oracle tools and other recently version of development tools. Exposure to DB SQL, Oracle and other common databases (creation, maintenance, configuration and related tools). Experience in collaboration tools (office, SharePoint, BI, skype, etc.) and in continuous improvement processes to maximize tools and implement efficiency in processes based in technology.
