Sr Engineer Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughs To lead, manage and roll out all Maintainability procedures across aerospace Engines, APU and Mechanical product lines Provides technical leadership, interfaces with internal leaders and external customers, chief engineers and subject matter experts to accomplish program objectives Designs scope of the maintainability aspects as below based on discussions with the stakeholders and requirement analysis Convert customer requirements to Maintainability criteria Maintainability Predictions/Allocations Present interpretations & recommendation to Chiefs, CSB etc Respond to customer reliability/maintainability requirements from a requirements & technology standpoint and discuss concepts and solutions with them & evolve Oversee preparation, review and approval for critical maintainability documentation and deliverables Ensure timely information flow among and between team members and implement project-related communication plans and operating systems Mentoring and developing global resources and grow level of expertise in the team Excellent focus on execution; should ensure responsiveness to customers, team and management. 35 Convert customer requirements to Maintainability criteria 35 Maintainability Predictions/Allocations 30 Present interpretations & recommendation to Chiefs, CSB etc YOU MUST HAVE BS Degree in Mechanical or aerospace engineering WE VALUE Extensive work experience in aircraft engines, APUs/mechanical LRUs with reliability & mainability domain Hands on experience with gas turbine or combustion engines including fault isolation and detection. Remove and replacing of LRUs and/or gas turbine engine build or tear down experience. Understanding of Gas Turbine Engines: Turbo Fan, Turbo Prop and Turbo Shaft General knowledge of basic hand tools (NSN tool kits) Understanding of Military standards: MIL-STD-472: Maintainability Predictions, MIL-STD-1472: Human Engineering DOD-HDBK-791(AM): Maintainability Design Technique CAD experience NX preferred CATIA Ability to create simple parts or tools Understanding of how to import/export models (stp, prt, JT, CATIA files) Human Factors software experience Process Simulate preferred Some experience with NX Assembly Sequence Ability to create and update Maintainability predictions Familiarity with Maintenance Steering Group-3 (MSG-3) Ability to work effectively with global organizations and individuals at all levels. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be a good communicator of vision, ideas and work requirements. Ability to collaborate with development leaders in other geographies to develop and implement consistent practices and principles.
