PositionSummary: This is a key leadership role within PRTRA. This role is responsible for developing,planning and implementing commercial strategies for the Duty Free accountsacross the Americas in order to achieve predetermined business objectives. Ensure effective management of Junior KeyAccount Manager(s) to deliver agreed business results. This role is responsible for thecommunication between upper management and making sure goals are executed. EssentialJob Functions: Financialresponsibility for P&L down to CAAP S/T for the perimeter and customerassigned within: Canada Duty-Free retailers (airports and border), US Duty-Freeretailers (airports, Northern border), ship chandlers, Mexico Duty-Free retailers,Caribbean Duty-Free Retailers (not supplied by local distributors), LatinAmerica Duty Free; Airlines Duty-Free and on-board suppliers, railways supply. Incharge of preparing budget estimates for customers within his/her territory Responsiblefor achievement of volume and margin objectives for respective geography. Inpartnership with General Manager, recommends the commercial strategy andpriorities for his/her customers. In"Key BMCs", responsible for overseeing the successful implementation ofapproved brand building activities as developed and agreed upon with Marketing. In"Other BMC's", responsible for development and execution of trade marketingstrategies and promotional plans in-line with brand plans and marketing guidelines. Responsiblefor the setting and implementation of customer pricing. Ensurescommercial team is focused on appropriate priorities in order to achieve longterm objectives. Providescustomer analysis of trends and needs, analyzes market data Directsnegotiations with customers on pricing and promotions within assigned remit. Overseessubordinates' negotiations/account management. Inconjunction with Sr Marketing Manager, monitors Marketing A&P budgetin-line with functional areas of responsibility and customer/brand mix. ManageT&E budgets for his/her team. Responsiblefor managing and developing a culturally diverse team of skilled Duty-Freeexperts. Adheresto policy and procedures related to decisions on shipments and payments. Responsiblefor the timely identification of changes in the field and communicating changesand recommendations for improvement to Senior Management. Inpartnership with Business support, creates monthly reports for SeniorManagement. Inpartnership with Business support, responsible for gathering information fromdirect reports for all adhoc requests made from Senior Management. ConductsQuarterly Business Analysis Reviews with accounts in order to ensure that thelong-term/short term goals are achieved. Definesadequate team management processes (regular meetings, reporting documents,etc.) with General Manager in order to ensure goals are achieved. Qualifications/Requirements: Education:Bachelor'sDegree Experience: Minimum of 8 of sales experience,preferably with at least two (2) years within travel retail industry. Minimum of three (3) years of direct salesmanagement required. Languages:Englishrequired, Bi Lingual English/Spanish may be required. Other languages a plus.
