Sr Planning Analyst

Job Description Summary The Senior Planning Analyst will lead the supply planning and scheduling processes for External Operations. This person will enable attainment of target Customer service levels, while achieving target inventory objectives. This person will efficiently convert global demand requirements into an attainable supply plan for products manufactured by external partners. Develop, communicate and confirms net requirements and supply plans with our external partners. The senior planning analyst will create the monthly S&OP package for the key partners and will attend/lead the supply S&OP meetings. The ability to work in a complex matrix manner across MD&D and a worldwide network of external partners is a key requirement. This position reports into the BU Manager - External Operations Planning within the External Operations Planning and Scheduling group. Requirements Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or Operations required. Must possess at least 4 years of related experience in supply chain management, production planning and/or materials management. Strong analytical skills required. In depth knowledge of manufacturing control systems (ERP) and processes is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the company and across the global supply chain is required. The ability to influence others in a matrix environment is required. Experience and/or certification in Lean or Six Sigma processes are preferred. The ability to lead with minimal supervision and to work independently with a strong sense of urgency is required.
