We welcome people with a passion for tax, a spirit for new thinking, and a commitment to providing outstanding client service today, and tomorrow.KPMG is currently seeking a Tax Intern for our Business Tax Services (BTS) practice.Responsibilities:+ Perform tax-related tasks involving tax compliance to a variety of clients including partnerships, corporations and S-corporations+ Participate in data analytics assignments using KPMG?s technology, creation of tax return work papers and tax returns for corporate clients, and coordination of offshore resources+ Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships+ Keep up to date on current tax practicesQualifications:+ Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; a Bachelor of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy, Master of Taxation+ Must have a current/most recent cumulative GPA over 3.00+ Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data and analytics preferred+ Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook+ Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work+ Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the futureKPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
