Purpose Responsibilities that include data analysis and identification of process improvement. The role will span all operations on site and will give the successful candidate a very good understanding of all aspects of the operation Projects will incorporate lean manufacturing, theory of constraints, quick response manufacturing, Just-In-Time, Methods-Time Measurement, or a variety of other systems improvement philosophies. Responsibilities Assisting in the analyzing, designing, and implementation of manufacturing and business process improvement, resulting in increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduction in the work-in-process, improve fill-rates, and improve process flow and efficiency. Assisting in the design, implementation and maintenance of effective metrics with internal customers or suppliers to ensure unbridled supply is achieved. Participates in multiple facets groups across the organization including manufacturing, design, supplier development, and documentation. Create strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure project success Makes recommendations to design teams, which drive higher yielding, lower cost, more manufacturable products. Responsible for the final Process Monitor Release for products prior to distribution. Management Requirements AA Degree (Bachelor preferrable) and 5-8 years of work experience on Medical Device/Pharmaceutical industry. This resource will be a core MES (Manufacturing Execution System) technician on the team and will be responsible for executing activities for the MES System (Camstar InSite) at the Dorado manufacturing facility. Experience required in the following areas: MES Molding Configuration, Windchill Process Plan Configuration, MES Batch Updates/Configuration, BAM Errors Troubleshooting, Production Lines MES/SAP Support, MES Business Sim Execution, Data Loader, Business Objects for production/configuration report. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Fully Bilingual Job Scope and Leveling Guidelines Knowledge: Solid knowledge of the job. Applies broad knowledge of general technical concepts and practices and a general understanding of product or systems fundamentals. Cognitive Skills: Performs routine and some non-routine technical assignments using standard methods and sequences. Performs set-up, testing, repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of all area-specific equipment, materials, systems, and/or product. Assignments require limited judgment in troubleshooting proven processes. Supervision Received: Close to moderate supervision. Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments. Consequence of Errors: Errors may be detected and corrected but may cause moderate loss of time or customer/user dissatisfaction. Contacts: Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally with contacts outside own organization. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation.
