Primary Responsibilities: Application Disaster Recovery plan development and maintenance Support of Disaster Recovery exercises for infrastructure and application teams Perform maintenance and support updates to the Business Continuity Management System in place to support the DR program Work closely with Business Continuity, as well as business and application teams to support DR Ensures that business requirements are captured within the solution designed for recovery Support forecast of Disaster Recovery program development, refresh, and exercise schedule up to a year and a half out Contribute to, and ensure Disaster Recovery process is continually maintained and applied in all facets of the enterprise Disaster Recovery process document maintenance Support key metric deliverables related to Disaster Recovery Participate in facilitation of recovery efforts, if necessary Assist in training facilitation and program material upkeep Miscellaneous duties as assigned ENGLISH PROFICIENT ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AFTER APPLICATION Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 3 years working in IT related field 1 years Disaster Recovery program experience 1 years working with data center applications in an audited environment (SOX / PCI / HIPAA) Experience working in a dispersed and segregated environment with many different teams Proficient in Microsoft Office Bilingual (Spanish / English) Preferred Qualifications: Strong communications and documentation skills Business Continuity/ Disaster Recovery program certificate or equivalent Agile Training/Certification Understands System Architecture Plans Careers with Optum.
