How? Become aTerritory Managerat Abbott Vascular inPuerto Rico. This role will cover metro and north territories in Puerto Rico, as well as distributors in Caribbean.

As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives in both products lines: Coronary and Endovascular. You will work with the Regional Sales Manager to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential and to establish and achieve annual sales objectives in assigned territory. You will coordinates activities with Territory Manager counterparts and negotiate contracts with external customers, keeping the company informed of market dynamics.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional procedures.

Work in a team environment to fulfill the sales needs of the company.

Sells product by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by the company on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis.

Developed and implements sales strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g. product, competition, pricing needs) of existing and potential accounts to promote the product to hospital personnel.

Develop action plans by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports identifying the needs of particular accounts.

Develop, motivate, and challenge colleagues to achieve top performance.

Execute the marketing programs as presented by the Commercial Manager or Regional Product Managers.

Coordinate, collaborate and execute divisional and/or district meetings so that the sales force is informed and motivated. Approach territory creatively and committed to impact the business in the most positive fashion possible.

Assure customer satisfaction and commitment to quality and compliance.

Prepare the annual sales plans and present to senior management.

Observes actual procedures in in the labs of hospital accounts to gain insights into the needs of the customer—the physician, the staff and the administration.

Identifies and maps each account to understand the key decision makers and how to influence these.

Strengthens customer relationships by performing sales support activities (internal and external customer training, VIP trips, attendance at conferences, product launches)

Builds network of contacts on behalf of the company to stimulate interest in company’s products by attending and participating in trade shows, seminars and congresses.

Maintains clinical and technical expertise by attending company product training sessions.

Prepares and submits reports to sales management by analyzing and compiling data, projections and other relevant information.

Plan and drive to work towards achieving company vision, objectives as well as divisional mission and strategies

Establish a relationship with all other Divisions inside Abbott.

Operate the CRM (OneForce customer relationship management) system and ensure information is available with the company on a timely and accurate manner – this includes: entering and maintaining contact details, include tasks, events and managing appointments; record customer interactions giving the company the ability to track performance and productivity based on information logged within the system; keep accurate market share information and update it on a monthly basis; and analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Science and Engineering.

5+ years of combined experience in sales support and/ or clinical support. Desirable experience in healthcare industry and/or related tointervention cardiologists.

Excellent and Fluent spoken and written of English and Spanish.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
