ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs data entry of materials received at Company system. Carries, lift and handling materials and merchandise at warehouse area with the appropriate safety equipment that Company provides. Verifies quantities of materials delivered and for delivery in compliance with shipping documents. Keeps records and filing all information of materials received or delivered. Performs material inventories in the warehouses. Inspects material handling equipment such as lifters and fingers lifts to meet company requirements. Drives truck to destination. Loads and unloads truck. Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit. Drives in a safety and proper way assuring the compliance with all State Road regulations and laws. Delivers and pick ups materials or merchandise from or to the daily or the stockroom. Requisitos:
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree GED ; Heavy Driver License Category 6 .Computer knowledge.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, internal or external audits and immediate supervisor. Bilingual English and Spanish languages . . MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
