AbbVie has created a unique program in the industry that consists of an eight (8) week summer internship aimed at providing college students a unique learning experience where their educational preparation will be taken to a new level by providing them an –at –work developmental experience that will equip them with important tools to help them succeed in their career and think about AbbVie as the employer of choice.
Qualifications
Engineering or Industrial Biotechnology student who has completed at least two (2) years of college education before beginning the summer internship.
Must be enrolled in school the semester following the internship.
Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Good mathematical and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
No experience is required.

Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day)
