Accounting Manager

This position is in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and requires the skills of an energetic, qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within the retail industry. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining all the necessary accounting policies and procedures and internal controls required to ensure timely and accurate financial information. This individual must possess strong strategic/financial skills as well as the ability to lead, collaborate and mentor staff from all levels in the organization to create and maintain a corporate culture of fiscal accountability.
Requisitos:
Minimum 3 Years Experience as Accountant / Comptroller or Accounting Manager
Candidate must possess a professional and positive attitude.
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to maintain a professional attitude.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree with at least 24 semester credit hours in Accounting
Understanding of GAAP and standard accounting methodologies
Accounting Software – Sage or equivalent ERP System
Experience with POS Systems, NCR Counter Point – (Not required but a plus)
Proficient skill level in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Adaptability with learning new technologies
Internet – Windows/Internet Explorer
Experience with Time and Attendance System a plus

Salary: $35,000.00 to $39,000.00 /year
