General Description
Analyzes business results and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting and Analysis Responsibilities
Develop complex queries in SQL, Access, Power Query, Power Pivot, SAS, Cognos, and other internal software available integrating multiple databases.
Develop business reports for various business functions using reporting tools.
Develop reports and analyze business/process data as per the business requirements.
Design & Implementation Responsibilities
Gather business requirements from end users and design process flows.
Identify process improvement opportunities. Define them in a complete and accurate form within scope.
Implement operational processes and strategies and validate the performance.
Testing & Quality Assurance Responsibilities
Develop & Document thorough test plan with comprehensive set of test cases and expected results.
Validate data thoroughly for accuracy against the source system or other standard system reports.
Administration & Maintenance Responsibilities
Document procedures for developing, maintaining and updating automated processes in compliance with banking policies.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities
Coordinate projects and communicate project progress and delays.
Identify critical risk and possible solutions.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems.
Experience
Two (2) years of experience in writing queries for data extraction, integrating data systems and software, including automation of processes. Experience in developing Decision Support/Analytical solutions.
Other Qualifications
Ability to make sound decisions in a consistent manner with essential job functions, preferably.
Must have good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Must be self-motivated, team oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in data processing tools like SQL, Access and Advanced Excel.
Ability to evaluate process and design solutions using database information.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Spanish.
