Job Description As an associate editor, you’ll become an expert in a wide range of subjects ranging from mortgages to pet insurance – and 100 other categories. In this role you’ll work collaboratively with a team of editors, research topics & ultimately write content – such as overviews, articles, buyers guides, frequently asked questions, etc. – designed to help consumers who are trying to decide whether or not they need to purchase the product or service in question & which companies are objectively the best based on cost, quality & other important factors. Requirements Excellent writing and verbal communication skills (Full fluency in English) Collaborative & comfortable working with other team members Strong research, organizational and analytical skills Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Strong typing abilities Passion for technology and startups Competitive and self-motivated Highly comfortable with learning complex & difficult to understand topics Ability to deliver results under pressure and meet deadlines. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in an arts major with 1 to 3 years of writing experience, or two years of undergraduate studies from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years writing experience. Experience writing a personal blog or consistent track record of publishing written content online.
