Full Time Opportunity General Description Provide analysis and reporting to identify business opportunities and support business and support units in delineating and implementing their strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Gather, organize and analyze data from internal and external sources, derive strategic insights, and provide recommendation to senior management. Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential business opportunities. Provide support to business units participating in the design and execution of strategic planning sessions, collaboration meetings, strategic discussion forums, among others. Monitor execution and performance indicators of key strategic initiatives. Develop ad-hoc analytics for Popular and its peer banks to identify business opportunities. Prepare presentations to senior management and the Board of Directors to effectively communicate the Corporation's strategic plans and its progress. Position interacts with multiple businesses and other support areas such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management and Operations. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting Experience Minimum 3 years of experience relevant to the job description, particularly in financial analysis and market research. Previous experience in the financial services industry is preferable. Other Qualifications Command in the analysis and interpretation of financial, economic and market information Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis and presentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines Capacity to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision Willingness to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills - able to work collaboratively and consultatively with individuals from different units. High proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research is required; emphasis on quantitative analysis (Excel) and creation of presentations (PowerPoint).
